Words Trail ("the App") is a word-chain game developed by Myces. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your choices.
The App does not use advertising and does not collect analytics.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.
Account and leaderboard data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, and Hosting). Data is encrypted in transit. Firestore access rules allow anyone to read and submit leaderboard entries, but existing entries cannot be edited or deleted by users.
We do not share your personal information with third parties, except with Google Firebase, which acts as our infrastructure provider to operate authentication, the database, and hosting for the App.
Leaderboard entries are retained to preserve historical rankings even after an account is deleted. You can delete your account and its associated data at any time from Profile → Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account inside the App. See our account deletion instructions for details on what is deleted, what is retained, and how to request deletion if you no longer have access to the App.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
